Signal Sleuths: Uncovering Radio Frequency Interference

465 MHz

The next piece of data is at 465 MHz. Usually, this is a set of points collected throughout the day. We do not know where the signal comes from, but the NTIA table gives us two choices. The first choice is that it is a maritime signal. Maritime signals let people on ships talk to each other, to the shore, or even between different areas on the same ship. However, since the GBO is not near any large bodies of water, this choice is unlikely. The second choice is a private land mobile signal, which companies or local government agencies use to communicate.
