Signal Sleuths: Uncovering Radio Frequency Interference
431 MHz
The next signal we’ll talk about is a solid line at 431 MHz. We’re not completely sure what’s causing this signal, but it could be from radiolocation. This is when radio waves are used to find the position of something. This can be an object or wildlife. Or the signal could be from an Amateur or Ham radio operator. These are regular people who have been approved by the FCC to broadcast on certain frequencies.
