The radio frequency part of the electromagnetic spectrum serves various purposes such as wireless communication, radio astronomy, weather forecasting, remote sensing, and WiFi. These uses are growing every year. However, the amount of available radio frequencies is limited—it's a finite resource. As more applications are developed, the radio frequencies become crowded, which necessitates careful management. To manage them effectively, we need to understand how and where they are currently being utilized.

If you're interested in becoming a citizen scientist and exploring radio frequencies in your area, visit our project page.
