NINE Program Foci

The NINE training program has two areas of focus:

(1) the teaching of sustainable skills to learners at different academic and career levels; specifically, using Google Colab and Github to teach students data mining skills using community-driven data products from NRAO telescope facilities

(2) training in, and use of, Project Management skills to create a comprehensive plan for a NINE hub at the visitor’s home institution. NINE hubs recreate the skills training in their own communities, and share best practices and newly developed materials and activities in the cloud between hubs.
