Spectrum Explorer's Virtual Club
The Spectrum Explorer's Club is a game for anyone interested in Amateur radio. Playing the game connects you with people in the hobby and helps you create your own place in amateur radio. In addition, you will collect digital tokens and certificates which can be displayed on social media.
We are excited to invite you to join the Spectrum Explorer’s virtual game; we’re committed to helping you make a positive impact in the ham radio community. Here’s what we’re all about:
• Supporting NRAO Ham Alumni: We’re dedicated to providing a space where alumni can continue their ham radio journey. Whether you want to practice, lead activities, or teach others, our game offers the support to deepen your connection with this exciting hobby.
• Creating a Bravely Welcoming Space: Our top priority is to build a welcoming environment for all amateurs--especially new amateurs and those from communities not traditionally involved in amateur radio.
• Fostering Intergenerational Learning: Unlike other clubs that focus on a one-way, mentor to mentee transfer of knowledge, we’re all about bidirectional learning. We believe in sharing expertise across generations—older hams can learn a lot from younger enthusiasts about emerging technologies like mobile apps, AI, and blockchain, while passing on their own valuable knowledge in return.
