NRDZ Lesson One Mechanical Waves

This lesson guides participants through the first topic in the curriculum. This topic was included in the lessons because research shows students don’t have the fundamental knowledge necessary to understand more complex EM spectrum topics. So, this curriculum starts with a review of mechanical waves, something students should be familiar with before moving on to Electromagnetic waves. During this portion of the PD participants will watch a video overview of the lesson, read the lesson plan and curriculum materials, and participate in some discussions.
